Over the next two weeks, more than 200 high school seniors from the Jackson County area will close one chapter of their lives and prepare for the next at graduation ceremonies. The photos on this page spotlight the top academic students of the Class of 2019, while this special section honors all of this year’s graduating seniors.
In the top photo, Holton High School will honor its top graduates during their class of 69 students’ graduation at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18 in the HHS gym. From left to right: Syd-ney Snyder (summa cum laude), Taylor Stevens (magna cum laude), Lauryn Moore (cum laude), Grant Cawby (summa cum laude), Kortnee Van-Donge (summa cum laude), Abbigail Hundley (magna cum laude) and Walker Sheldon (sum-ma cum laude).
