Sacrifices of martyrs will not go in vain: PM
NEW DELHI, Apr 24:
Prime Minister NarendraModi today condemned thenaxal attack on CRPF personnelin Chhattisgarh, terming it as a"cowardly and deplorable" act,and asserted that the sacrificesof the martyrs will not go invain.
"Attack on @crpfindia per-sonnel in Chhattisgarh is cow-ardly & deplorable. We aremonitoring the situation close-ly," he tweeted.
"We are proud of the valourof our @crpfindia personnel.The sacrifice of the martyrs willnot go in vain. Condolences totheir families," he added.
He wished speedy recoveryto those injured in today'sattack.
In one of the deadliestattacks, naxals ambushed aCRPF contingent inChhattisgarh's Sukma district ataround 12:25 pm, killing sever-al personnel. (PTI)
