Our Lady of Fatima
The Five First Saturdays Devotion
Our Lady of Fatima Rosary is recited every 1st Saturday of the month at 4:15 pm right here at Sacred Heart! Next Saturday - June 1st, 2019
During her July apparition at Fatima, Our Lady said to Lucia, “I shall come to ask... that on the First Saturday of every month, Communions of reparation be made in atonement for the sins of the world. Tell them that I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation all those who, in order to make reparation to me , on the First Saturday of five successive months, go to Confession, receive Holy Communion, say five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for a
quarter of an hour, meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary.” To those who faithfully follow Our Lady’s requests for the Five First Saturdays, she has made a wonderful promise in which she, as Mediatrix of All Graces, will certainly fulfill:
“I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.”
2019 Quilt Raffle Our Stitching for Service Ministry just completed our second quilt to be raffled off at the upcoming Parish Festival. This Queen sized “Sampler” quilt is reversible and numbered. Raffle tickets are available in the Parish Office now and after Masses in the future. We will also be offering a hand-crafted Stained Glass panel made by parishioner Michael Luciano.
Raffle tickets for both items will be $5 per opportunity.
All proceeds benefit the Sacred Heart School.
Happy Father’s Day! Please join the Ladies Auxiliary in celebrating all the Dads of Sacred Heart Parish Sunday, June 16, after all
Masses. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you!
