Stanford English Language Proficiency Test

• The Stanford English Language Proficiency Test (Stanford ELP) reflects all aspects necessary for comprehensive, standards-based assessment of English language proficiency. Developed by ESL experts, this research-based test evaluates the listening, reading, comprehension, writing, and speaking skills of K-12 English language learners with the goal of guiding them to full participation in English language classrooms. Stanford Spanish Language Proficiency Test

• Strengthens the effectiveness of ELL programs with the Stanford Spanish Language Proficiency Test (Stanford SLP)

• Evaluates Spanish-speaking students' proficiency in their native language in order to help them transfer skills to English and transition to English-speaking classrooms

SELP/SSLP TESTING OF SPED STUDENTS

There is no need to submit a SELPor SSLP test for students that cannot test or did not respond. Instead;• Submit a “SELP/SSLP Testing

of SPED STUDENTS” form.• Make a copy of the back of a test

booklet and fill out all student information in your SPF.

• Turn in FORM with Student Information to Lucy Escamilla @ Bilingual Dept.
