High Level Proposition
ROI
Hardware migration from Series 90-30 to RX3i
Saves dollars spent on hardware 2 ways:
• Existing Series 90-30 I/O can be used to migrate to the RX3i which has better throughput and more capacity.
• Existing panel does not have to be modified to accommodate the RX3i. The foot print is the same as Series 90-30.
Training and support • The RX3i uses the same program structure as the Series 90-30 and same I/O as the Series 90-30 therefore training and support is minimal compared to a different manufactures
Throughput • The RX3i PCI backplane is 250 times faster than the Series 90-30 serial bus, thus the throughput time of the PCI bus will enable modules such as Ethernet, Analog and Profibus to be more efficient increasing productivity.
Downtime • The new RX3i modules provide extensive diagnostic with time and date stamping to quickly identify machine failures.
• The RX3i supports redundant power supplies to ensure high availability.
Investment cost • RX3i hardware cost is one of the most economical on the market today. The RX3i will have over 32 discrete I/O, 13 analog I/O, and a wide variety of specialty modules to solve complex applications.
• The powerful controller, with 10 meg of memory, will enable the RX3i to solve complex applications costing much less than our competitors. In addition there are a wide range of third party modules that are compatible with the RX3i.
