Deep roots
• No fear of future
• Fruit bearing
• No fear of surroundings, because of the certainty of own roots
• prosperous
• Filled with the fullness of God
• `He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not…´ ( This attitude)
Shallow roots
• Wither away (from
walking with God)
• Not be able to see
when good comes
• Weak and instable in
the faith

EVER.
– His Word helps us please Him.
• Make a commitment to study His word
• Be creative to find the way that fits you (journaling, scripture writing, etc)
Why must I ground myself in my church family?
• God has chosen this for me
• Strength in numbers-1 Peter 5:8–9
