Otto Rocket is the lead character on Rocket Power. Otto is a vain 11-year old boy living in Ocean Shores. A skilled, prodigious, lazy, rude, obnoxious, spoiled, bratty, trouble making, selfish, unkind, and highly competitive athlete, he has won numerous competitions in surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding; he is also very handy with a bicycle and with rollerblades, and is captain of the youth-league roller-hockey team he shares with Reggie and his best friends Twister and Sam.

Regina "Reggie" Rocket is Otto's tomboyish and sassy 12-year old sister who is of calmer disposition and greater maturity.

Reggie is the only female in "Team Rocket". She is awesome at sports. She was the co-owner of a magazine that she publishes. It's hard to find a weakness in this "sporty girl".

Maurice "Twister" Rodriguez is one of the leadcharacters on Rocket Power. He has the good fortune to be the best friend of Otto Rocket, and has the disadvantage of having Lars for a big brother. He was the neighborhood squid until Sam came along.

A very smart and intelligent kid, Sam is the same age as Otto and Twister, but was promoted one grade up at school ("mom's idea") and is in Reggie's class. He is the voice of conscience and common sense for the group: his fears and his intelligent analysis usually keep the other kids out of serious danger. He is very good at math and science, and is also a very literate computer user who has developed applications. He is rarely seen without his trusty laptop computer, which he carries along everywhere he goes.
