Welcome Email Messages

Samples Hello, Ericka!

On behalf of the Western Maryland Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, I want to welcome you to our chapter. It's great to have you on board!!

We are a small chapter (about 70+ members), but we are growing, and we offer many programs of benefit to our members. I'd like to extend a personal invitation to have you join us for our next program -- a a morning workshop on Tuesday, September 20 from 8:00 – 10:00 am. The topic will be “Stewarding our Board members – ethical, fiduciary and legal responsibilities.” It will be a great one to bring a CEO and/or Board member(s) to. The program will be held at Maryland National Golf Club, 8836 Hollow Road, Middletown, MD. Cost is $20 for members and $35 for non-members in case you want to bring a guest, and it includes breakfast.

I refer you to our website http://afpwesternmd.afpnet.org

There are many ways to get involved in our chapter. We are always seeking folks who would like to help on a committee including Membership, Program, Communications, Diversity, and National Philanthropy Day. I also recommend our Discovery groups, an informal way to meet with a smaller group of members for networking/sharing/brainstorming in Carroll, Frederick, and Washington counties. If I can answer any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Welcome, and I hope to see you very soon.

Sincerely,
