Introduction

• The UEMS-ORL Section and Board has developed an European training programme and a log book for Head and Neck Surgery.

• The training programme is based on the accepted UEMS-ORL training programme in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery

• The subspeciality training programme has been accepted by all UEMS member states

• The training programme should serve as a guideline for approved training centers to enable head and neck fellows to meet the European standard

- TRAINEE OR FELLOW STATUS- for 2 yrs full time after 1-2 yrs of ORL specialist status
