Rejoice, precious diadem of godly kingsRejoice, honored pride of the pious priests.

Rejoice, for through you

were born again those conceived

in shame

Rejoice, for you have

admonished those whose

intellects had been captured.

Rejoice, heavenly ladder by which God came downRejoice, bridge leading those from earth to I heaven.

Let us stand reverently within the temple or our God and cry out: Rejoice, Mistress or the world. Rejoice, 0 Mary, the Lady of us all. Rejoice, only blameless and fair one among women. Rejoice, vessel which accepted the divine inexhaustible

ointment Poured upon you.

The spotless chamber of the

Word, for all the Cause of deification, rejoice, all-

undefiled the prophets; echoing

prophecy,

Rejoice, adornment

of the Apostles.

More honorable than the

Cherubim, and beyond compare

more glorious than the

Seraphim, without

corruption you gave birth to

God the Word. We magnify you,

the true Theotokos.

Heavenly King, Comforter, the Spirit of things and Giver of life, come and dwell in us. Cleanse us of every stain, and save our

souls, gracious Lord.
