Regulations for keeping ourCatholic cemeterybeautiful and safe

May 2012

Maintaining the beauty and safety ofour Catholiccemetery• Through theseregulations andthe work of ourdedicated staff,we strive to maintain the grounds efficiently—controlling weeds, fertilizing, and trimming and mowing. We coordinate this maintenance withregularly scheduled clean-ups.

• We take precautionary steps to avoidinjury to our staff and visitors by notallowing breakable containers, wireattached to monuments or otherobjects that could become caught in a mower or trimmer.

• Removal of cut flowers and flowerbouquets. Cut flowers and flower bouquets, even in approved cemeteryvases, will be removed by the cemeterywhen, in the sole opinion of the cemetery, such flowers or bouquetshave become unsightly or withered, or otherwise are no longer attractive.

• Because the cemetery is open to thepublic with many people visiting annually, it is very difficult to controlthe activities of every visitor. We regretthat we cannot guarantee that decora-tions will be protected from damageor loss. We caution you against leavingany items of sentimental or monetaryvalue on your lot.

• Any decorations deemed by management to be in violation of these regulations will be removed anddiscarded without notice to the owner.Cemetery management assumes no liability to owners for removing anddiscarding these items.
