REGOLAMENTO1.GENERALINFO:The“SpringMeeting–FriuliVeneziaGiuliaTrophy2017” isan internationalevent,present intheFAIEventscalendar,CAT2–HangGlidingClassIandV.ItisorganizedbyAeroClubLegaPilotiincollaborationwithFlyves.r.l2.FLYINGSITE:

• Competitionarea:FriuliVeneziaGiulia.• Pilotsregistrationandprize-givingatPalazzoColossi,Meduno(PN)• HQatthelandingfield/ExpoareasituatedinTravesio(PN).

3.PERIOD:ThecompetitiontakesplacefromApril25toMay1,2017.4.GENERALSCHEDULE:Thecompetitionschedulemightbechangedbecauseofweatherconditionandorganizationneeds.AnyschedulevariationwillbepublishedontheofficialboardattheHeadquarters.5.TASKVALIDATIONANDRESULTS:Validation:1.500pointsTheMeetDirectorcanstop,cancelorpostponethecompetition,beforeorduringitsongoing.Thefollowingrankingswillbeproduced:

PrizeandPrizemoneymustbewithdrawnpersonallybythepilotduringthePrize-givingCeremony.Proxieswon’tbeaccepted.Prizesnonwithdrawnwillbekeptbyorganizers.10.COMPLAINTS:Anycomplaintmustbesubmittedbefore8.30a.m.ofthedayfollowingthepublicationoftheprovisionalresults,orwithin30minutesfromthepublicationofthefinalgeneralresults.Tosubmitacomplaintmustbepaidabail(50€),whichwillberefundonlyifthecomplaintisaccepted.11.REQUIREDDOCUMENTS:AsexpectedforthenationalcompetitionsoffreeflightandaccordingtotheFAI/CIVLrequirements,forinternationalcompetitionsrecognizedintheFAIEventsCalendar-Category2–thefollowingMANDATORYdocumentsmustbesubmitteduponregistration:

- NationalpilotsLicense- FAILicenseClassO- ReceiptofEntryFeepayment- ThirdPartyLiabilityInsurance(InsurancenumberandInsuranceCompany)

Note:Alldocumentsmustbevalid.12.RADIOANDEQUIPMENT:TheuseofcertifiedhelmetsisMANDATORY(EN966).Forsafetypurpose,tohaveaLPDand/orVHFradio,tunedonthefrequenciessetbytheorganizersisMANDATORY.Eachpilotmustcommunicatewhileregisteringtheradiofrequencyhe/shewilluseduringthecompetition.13.GPS,SOFTWAREANDSCORINGSYSTEM:

- TrackswillbedownloadedusingGPSDUMP.ForScoringwillbeusedFS(fs.fai.org).- UsedGPSmustnecessarilyregistertheflightaltitude,bothGPSandbarometric.- Thepilothastoprovideasuitablecabletotheorganization.- TheMapDatumusedisWGS84.

14. SCORING: Scoring System is GAP 2016, as indicated in the Italian National Regulation for Hang Gliding and ParaglidingCompetitions.RankingswillbeestablishedusingthetracksoftheLiveTrackingdevicesuppliedbyorganizers.Ifthetrackwon’tbesatisfyingforthepilot,thetrackfromthepilot’spersonaldevicewillbedownloaded.15.SPECIFICRULES:

1. Incaseofstoppedtask,itmovesbackwardsof15minutesasbyregulationsandaparameterof1:5onthegliding(onthebasisofaltitude)willbeapplied.

2. Incaseofinfringementofairspacesaprogressivepenaltieswillbeapplied:-100moftoleranceandthenapointforeachmeter.

The100mof tolerancemustbebelow the referenceFL; forexample, if theFL is2000m, the100mstart from1900m.Infringedthe2000m,0pointsforthetask.Sothepointsoffmustbesubtractedfrom1901mupto2000m.

3. Incaseofverticalinfringement:100metersoftoleranceandthen4pointforeachmeter.4. Tocalculatethemetersoftolerancereadpoint2).5. Incasepilotdoesnotcommunicate(withoutjustification)within19.00thathe/shelanded,apenaltywillbeappliedand

the20%ofthedailyscorewillbecutoff.Thenextdaythepilotwilllaunchfromthelastposition.Atthesecondviolation,pilotwillbeexcludebythecompetition.

6. Launch/HGsetup:apreciseorderforHGsetupandlaunchcanbeestablished-onthebasisofFAIRankingthefirstdayandofthecompoverallrankingonthefollowingdays.Inanycase,thefirst15willbeinverted.

7. ThePush-Systemwon’tbeusedbuttheMeetDirectorcan,inhisopinion,movebackwardfromthelaunchthepilotwhowaitstoomuchtimewhilethewindowisopen.

8. There-flywillbeauthorizedwithinthewindowopeningtime.Thetransportationtothetake-offisonpilots.9. AnyexceptiontowhatabovedescribedareatthediscretionoftheMeetDirector.10. AnyadditiontothisLocalRuleswillbecommunicatebytheOrganizers.

16.RESPONSIBILITYANDINSURANCE:AeCLegaPilotiandFlyve(andanyotherparticipantattheorganization)arenotresponsiblefor any damage to persons or things that may result from the race.
