CANCELLATION• Cancellations of registration must be done in writing and submitted to the Congress Secretariat on or before Nov. 1, 2020 by email at
reg_idfwpr2020@163.com• Refunds will only be made after the congress.
• Any cancellations received on or before (date) will be charged a handling fee of RMB300. The balance of the registration fees will be refunded after deducting other related fees and charges incurred in connection with such refunds, including costs of foreign exchange conversion, Credit Card cancellation and or banking transaction.
• Paid registration fee is not refundable if cancellation is made after Nov. 1, 2020 for whatever reason, including failure to obtain a visa.

IDF-WPR & AASD 2020 Scienti�c Committee invites abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
GENERAL ABSTRACT THEMES INCLUDE:- Basic sciences: diabetes, obesity and nutrition
- Clinical Diabetes and Therapeutics
- Clinical Diabetes and Complications
- Nutrition and Exercise
- Education and living with diabetes
- New technology in diabetes care
IMPORTANT NOTES• All abstracts must be submitted online via the congress website (www.idfwpr2020.net). Please read the instructions carefully, as abstracts submitted not according to these instructions will not be accepted.
• Abstracts sent by post, fax or email will not be accepted.
• Abstracts must be submitted not later than May 1, 2020.
• Accepted abstracts will be presented in either thematic poster sessions or oral abstract sessions during the congress.
• The presenting Authors of abstracts accepted for presentation MUST be registered delegates and be responsible for all expenses incurred in the production of their presentations, travel and accommodation during the Congress.
• Abstracts will be rejected if they contain no data or if the English is unacceptable. All Presenting Authors will receive the detailed presentation guidelines when their abstract has been accepted and closer to the Congress date.
• Acknowledgement of the receipt of abstract submission will be sent to the Presenting Author' s email address immediately upon submission. Abstract accepted/rejection letter will be sent to you latest by July 2020 once the decision is made. The Presenting Author will receive all correspondence regarding the abstract status. Presentation type, date and time, via the email that is provided in the abstract submission.
ABSTRACT GUIDELINE• The abstract must not exceed 350 words.
• Text should be Times New Roman with font size 10 and single-spaced.
• Do not include �gures or graphs with the abstract. Any �gures or graphs format will not be published.
STRUCTURE OF ABSTRACTIn order to make the abstract as informative as possible, please provide:
• a brief statement of the purpose of the study
• the method used
• the result observed
• the conclusions based upon the results
• It is inadequate to state " The results will be discussed" or “The data will be presented" .

The main structure draws inspiration from the mellow and auspicious four-leaf clover and incorporates a symmetrical design concept, with the Commercial Plaza as the central hub and the surrounding exhibition halls as the four leaves. NECC is one of the landmark buildings in Shanghai.

Late Breaking Abstracts Deadline July 15, 2020the 5th IDF-WPR Congress in 2002 and the 3rd AASD Scienti�c Meeting in 2011 in Beijing. Through the years, the IDF-WPR
congress has become the most important regional platform for the exchanges of the latest information and knowledge
on diabetes prevention and care. We will do our utmost to provide an excellent opportunity for leading professionals,
practitioners, researchers and experts to gather and share knowledge and exchange on issues about prevention,
management and control of diabetes.
Highlighting the theme " New era for diabetes care: innovation, translation and integration" , the scienti�c program of the
congress will focus on the latest advances and new technology in diabetes prevention and management. The international
advisory board and the scientific committee of the congress will be composed of international renowned experts and
leading scholars in China. They will hold high standard for the selection of topics and speakers to enact interesting
discussion and exciting exchanges. We believe this meeting will be a rewarding event for every participants, and will
contribute to the enhancement of the scienti�c level and quality of our �eld.
Shanghai is a dynamic international city with advanced infrastructure, beautiful scenery and historic attractions. Besides
the scienti�c program, the Organizing Committee will o�er an exciting social program for all participants to network and
