Camp Edison

• Built in 1962 on the western shores of Shaver Lake Camp Edison was originally constructed as a promotion for electric power.

• It provided 100 campsites at opening, a number that has since grown to 252, now operated and maintained as a part of FERC hydro license requirement.

• 200,000+ visitors annually

Camping has come a long way since 1963 • Tent, R.V. & Group Camping

• Boat Launch, Laundromats, Cable TV, WiFi

• Paved sites, Full hook-ups, & 30-50 amp service

Camp Edison• Campground boasts electricity, cable television, wireless internet,

picnic facilities, modern restrooms with heated showers, Laundromats, amphitheater, basketball/volleyball courts, marina, boat launch, tent trailers/travel trailer, and general store.

Camp Edison Activities

• Scavenger hunts, kids corner, Science Days• Natural hikes, Campfire talks, Ghost walks• Craft days, yoga, Zumba classes
