Risk Adjustment Mentee Program

What is A Risk Adjustment Mentee?OS2U’s Risk Adjustment Mentee (RAM) program is a 6-month on-site course that provides an opportunity for Bell County area residents who are interested in coding to learn, earn, and intern with on the job training (OJT) in the industry of Medicare and commercial risk adjustment coding. Students enrolled in the program will be provided with the skills needed to earn a coding certification from the largest coding organization in healthcare, AAPC. Students are given an opportunity to earn 3 coding certifications from AAPC, simulated practice using redacted charts from a variety of medical records and once you earn your first certification, you will get paid to apprentice with OS2 Healthcare Solutions. All while learning!

OS2U outpatient mentee program

OS2U’s Outpatient Mentee program is an 8-month on-site program, that provides an opportunity forresidents of Central Texas to learn both hospital and physician coding. The 8-month onsite course isdesigned to prepare risk adjustment coders in the discipline of procedural coding in the physician andhospital setting in an attempt to earn the CPC and COC certifications. This is the second phase of OS2’sMentee Program designed to improve the marketability and employability of its students by providingtraining which earns certification and experience employees are looking for.
