Deadline:January15,2016TheQatarFoundationiscreatinganewcentreforchildrenwithAutismSpectrumDisorder(ASD).Currently,programstosupportstudentswithASDinQatararelimitedandcannotmeetcurrentneeds.TheCentrewillbeaplacewherechildrencanreceiveanappropriateandindividualizededucation,usingevidence‐basedpracticessuchasABAandStructuredTEACCHmethodology.Inaddition,thecenterwillalsoprovideanintensiveprogramtotrainandsupportfamilieswhohavechildrenwithASDtosupportthebestoutcomesforthechildren.GENERALDESCRIPTIONThecenterisscheduledtoopenSeptember2016withapproximately50threeandfouryearoldchildren.Servicesprovidedwillincludeathoroughassessmenttodeterminestrengthsandneeds,directinstructionthroughtheuseofABAmethods,socialskillstraining,speech‐languagetherapy,occupationaltherapy,in‐hometrainingforparentsandcollaborationwiththemedicalcommunity.REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS Master’sdegreeinSpecialEducation 10year teachingexperience inSpecialEducation including studentswithAutism

SpectrumDisorder PreviousschooladministrationexperienceinSpecialEducation Outstandinginstructionalleadershipskills Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills Demonstratedabilitytorelatetostudentconcerns DemonstratedcommitmenttoongoingprofessionalgrowthPREFERREDQUALIFICATIONSThefollowingpersonalandprofessionalqualificationsorexperiencesaredesirable.
