• Smoking is the leading cause of fatal lung disease

• Can lead to many serious things such as..• Various cancers• Coronary heart disease• Strokes• Reduced blood circulation

Selfish to other peoples health

• When smoking around other people it can be seriously harming them

• Second hand smoke can shorten a persons lifespan

• Adults and children can develop respiratory diseases in children and adults

Second hand smoke often contains more cancer-causing and toxic chemicals than those found in the

smoke a person inhales himself!

90% of all lung cancer deaths in men and 80% in women from smoking

Smell terrible

• Smoking causes your breath to smell like an ashtray

• Smell sticks onto clothing and hair as well

• Even if a person isn’t smoking and is in a place where people are, they will smell like an ashtray themselves

• Teeth turn yellow from smoking

Bad for skin

• Smoking can increase the chance of developing wrinkles on his/her face

• Found that smokers were more commonly found to have face wrinkling than non-smokers

• When smoking it decreases the years in your life

• Very selfish to purposely harm yourself by choosing to smoke

• Not only are you harming yourself, but also the people around you

Money doesn’t grow on trees

• Cigarettes are extremely expensive

• The price of cigarettes has increased over the year for one simple reason• Smokers will

continue buying them!
