• Community Meetings Held with Commissioner

Segal, Public Works Staff and Property Owners

• Initial Assessment of Tax Maps Showed No Public

• Extensive Title Search was Initiated to Determine

Historical Right of Way Dedication

• Original Public Hearing in March 2007 Was

Canceled Due to Pending Title Work Completion

• 25 Feet of Property was Lessed Out for Each Parcel

Within the Deeds for Road Purposes

Accepted this Right of Way for Road

• This Acceptance Eliminated the Need to Write

Legal Descriptions and Recordation for Each Parcel

Steps for Establishing MSBU:

• 67 % of Property Owners Must Agree to

Share the Cost of Building the Road to Dirt

Road Standard.

• Ballots were Mailed on August 29, 2005 to

24 Property Owners

• Results of Ballots: 95% (19 Out of 20

Respondent Property Owners) Agreed to

Proceed with the MSBU

MSBU PROCESS

Project Cost Distribution for MSBU:

• Total Cost of Construction: $72,785

• Orange County Responsibility: $ 52,075

• Property Owners Share: $20,710

• MSBU over 10-year period
