BRIEF PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/GOALS:Honolulu Community College offers its students the opportunity to study Psychology in a program leading to an Academic Subject Certif-icate in Psychology. The academic credential is included on student transcripts and can point to a variety of professional and academic fields related directly or indirectly to Psychology.

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:• Get a head start on a psychology major or a major in a related field! The ASC in Psychology enhances the value of your Associate of Arts (Liberal Arts) degree by providing coursework to support students declaring a Psychology major within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. • Experience classroom demonstrations and presentations, group discussions and projects.• Learn about applying psychology to everyday life.
