Central Computer reads soil moisture from radio nodes and sends commands to radio
nodes. Radio Node switches reads data from soil moisture sensors. Software on Central
Computer analyzes soil moisture, precipitation and other parameters. According to this
data Central Computer sends commands to Radio Nodes to operate the Solenoid
Valves.

CaipoSM is the most economical soil moisture and rain
monitoring system. CaipoSM consists of main unit, rain
gauge and soil moisture probe PR2/4 or PR2/6 from
Delta-T, leading provider of soil moisture sensors. Data
is transferred on Caipos web server or can be read

PRO32. Wireless Sensor Node
CaipoWave
CaipoWave is a wireless sensor node, main
component of Caipos wireless sensor network. It
uses best in class radio module, has excellent
communication range and ultra-low power
consumption. CaipoWave is maintenance free. With
single battery it can run for up to 5 years.
CaipoWave supports four analog and one digital
sensor. It sends data to base station CaipoBase.
CaipoBase stores data and forwards it to web server.
CaipoWave does not need any configuration. One
click of a button is enough to pair with a base station and start sending data.
CaipoWave can also work directly with a PC equipped with USB wireless receiver and
Windows software.

Water Level Station
Caipos water level monitoring systems consist of
base station, water level sensors and central web
platform.
Monitoring systems do not depend on weather and
can be used in harsh environmental conditions.
Water level radar, float water level sensor, pressure
water level sensor and rain gauge can be connected
to one station.
CaipoBase continuously monitors water level and if
significant change is detected, it sends data to web
application every 10 minutes. Frequent update of
data allows detecting of flood timely.
Caipos Water Level allows non-contact measurement. It does not need maintenance.
Applications of Caipos Water Level Systems include river monitoring, reservoir
monitoring, flood early warning, water management systems.

PRO46. C-Kit
C-Kit is mobile soil moisture
measurement system. It allows fast
and easy measurements at multiple
spots of the field. C-Kit consists of
mobile phone software and bluetooth
module. Data can be input manually
or read from soil moisture probe using
bluetooth module. Data is saved
together with geographical
coordinates and depth and
transferred to the central web
platform CaipoWeb.
C-Kit can be used with different soil moisture probes, such as ICT-MP406. User can
create multiple fields, enter calibration curves, select depth, edit measured data. After
uploading data to CaipoWeb it can be presented in colorful contour map. The map
shows moisture distribution across the field.
PRO81. CaipoGas PH3
H3 (Phosphine) gas is widely used for
fumigation (pest control) in buildings,
food processing and food storage.
Phosphine can remain for long time
after fumigation and it is very
poisonous for humans and animals.
Caipos PH3 meter with Caipos wireless
sensor nodes CaipoWave allows
monitoring PH3 concentration from 0 to 5PPM with resolution of 0.02 PPM. Thanks to
ultra low power consumption, CaipoWave can work indoor for 3-5 years with one set of
battery. Wireless sensor node sends data to the base station CaipoBase. Up to 16
sensor nodes can be connected wirelessly to one base station. Except PH3, other
sensors, like temperature, relative humidity, CO2 can be connected to the same sensor
node.

PRO14. Rain Gauge
Tipping bucket sensor for precipitation measurement. The sensing part is absolutely
protected from insects, leaves, slush and other objects, that could influence on accuracy
and measurement quality. Metal parts of the tipping bucket are made of stainless steel.
The weight and shape of the bucket is adjusted so that no one drop of water remains
when the bucket is switched. Sensor is factory calibrated. Extra calibration is not
required. Standard resolution is 0.5mm. Sensor with resolution 0.2 mm is available on
request.
Depending on the environmental conditions, sensor should be cleaned regularly. Clean
the funnel first. Then unscrew the nozzle, clean it and and screw again.

PRO28. Caipos Leaf Wetness Sensor
Leaf wetness sensor measures resistance between metal conductors that simulate the
leaf surface. Sensor should be placed close to the plants open to impact of the rain and
dew. Sensor reports wetness in 20 levels. 0 is completely dry 20 is completely wet.
Advantage of Caipos leaf wetness sensor is that it uses alternate current to prevent
damaging of the metal grid and extend the life of the sensor.

PRO30. Water Level Sensor
Radar sensor is perfect instrument for measuring water level in rivers, reservoirs, lakes.
Non-contact principle makes it easy to install, independent on weather conditions and
maintenance free. Application of sensors include gauge monitoring, flood and drought
warnings, water processing. Caipos provides special web application to adjust
parameters of the sensor depending on the installation height, sea level and base water
level.
