Welcome to our school!

This is our school.• Our school is a primary school for boys and girls from the ages of seven to thirteen years. There are 271 pupils and 27 teachers. Our

school is not very big but we like it. Our

headmaster’s name is Zofia Tymińska.

Our timetable and classrooms

• We go to school for five days from

Monday to Friday. Polish, Art., Maths,

Science, PE, RS, English, History, IT,

Music and Technology are

compulsory subjects. In the

afternoons we have our extra activities.

Our school day• We start our school at 8 o’clock in the

morning. There are four lessons before lunch and two or three after lunch. Lunch is at 11.30. We have lunch in the school cafeteria. Some of us have packed lunch from home. We finish our lessons at 2.30 or 3.20. Then we go home or have extracurricular activities.

Scouts in our school

Scouts• We have to wear school uniforms. Some

of us are scouts and they have to wear the scout uniforms on Mondays and Fridays. Scouts have their meeting twice a week. They sing songs, play games, do many interesting activities, and learn history as well. They have to look after some monuments in our town.

• Our school enters swimming, table tennis, basketball and football teams for certain competitions.

• We have football pitch behind our school. There is a gym hall in school, but both a pitch and gym are not very big.

• We go swimming to the nearest swimming pool in our town.

English Club

• We all like learning English.

• We have our English Club on Tuesday. There are 20 pupils attending this

club. In this picture there are only a few of us. We are from 6th grade. And

this is our English teacher Mrs. Beata Lenartowicz. In this picture she is in

Hasting, England.
