• as the Technical Body of the African Union (AU), with the following functions:

Mandate and functions of NPCA 1. Facilitate and coordinate the

implementation of the continental and regional priority and projects; programs

2. Mobilize resources and partners in support of the implementation of Africa’s priority programs and projects;

3. Conduct and coordinate research and knowledge management;

4. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of programs and projects; and

5. Advocate on the AU and NEPAD vision, mission and core principles/values;
