A city transformed by evolution, blending the cityscape with theold and new architecture, providing colorful landscape withextended greenery equipped with good facilities, amenities andwell-maintained infrastructure within a cultured community.

A city that is free from accident fatalities, vandalism and publicproperty theft, food poisoning, disease occurrences and havingsafe facilities and amenities. It promotes a healthy and happyliving condition.

Mayor Datuk Hj Abang Abdul Wahap bin Hj Abang Julai had launched

designated areas for smokers which had been implemented according to

phases (phase I ).

Besides, Sarawak government had also decided on smoking ban in all food

eateries effective on 1st March 2019.
