Present Tense - a tense expressing an action that is currently going on orhabitually performed, or a state that currently or generally exists.

Past Tense  - a tense expressing an action that has happened or a state thatpreviously existed.

Future Tense - a tense expressing an action that has not yet happened or a statethat does not yet exist.

Example:

run

I run a marathon twice a year. (present)I ran a marathon last year. (past)I will run a marathon next year. (future)

eat

I eat lunch in my oce.I ate lunch an hour ago.I will eat lunch in one hour.

see
