Problem DefinitionThe migratory behavior of bull trout is poorly understood. How can we best monitor the habitat and population of this threatened species?
ApproachPredict habitat and population for any river network using Ripple.
Future Work• Try better method for estimating channel
slope• Fine-tune model parameters to represent
bull trout instead of coho salmon (grain size for spawning, ocean survival rate, habitat preference)
