Hardware.TousePredictableeyetracking,thisneedstobeswitchedonandconnectedto

thehardware.

Oncetheswitchisturnedon,thecoresoftwarewilltryconnectwitheyetrackinghardware.

IfyouhaveyoureyetrackinghardwareconnectedtoyourdeviceviaUSB2(ieablueport,

oritwillhaveUSB2onit)thenthentheCoresoftwareshouldconnectandgiveyouthe

optiontocreateaprofile.

UsingEyeTrackinginPredictable

Oncethehardwareisfullyconnectedandcalibrated,youcanusetheeyetrackingfunctions

builtintothePredictablewindowsapp.

FirsttimeusersmaywanttoselectLongastheoptiononthispagebeforepressingApply

Thiswillgivemoretimerequiredtoholdthegazeonthekeyboardkeyorareathatyou

wouldliketoselect.Thiswillalsogivemoreaccuracyasyouwillhavemoretimeto

recognisethatthatistheareathatyouwouldliketoselect.

UsingShortwillgivelesstimebetweenbeginningtolookattheregionandPredicable

pickingthatregion.

Thiscanofferfastertypingandfastercommunication.

Onceyouhavepickedtheoptionsthatyouwouldliketouse,pressApply.

TheappwillthenbeginestablishingtheconnectiontotheTobiiHardwareandwilllaunch

theeyetrackingonceyoureturntothetextentrypage,orhomescreen.

Onceonthispage,youwillfindthattheappwilldisplaycircularvisualisationswhereyoufix

yourgaze.

ToExiteyetrackingsimplycompleteagazeattheXbuttonatthetopofthescreen.
