Pre-K for All Weekly Activities – May 11th - 15th
Circle the activities you complete.
Measure your stuffed animals (or other toys) at home. Which one is the longest? The shortest?
Learn about a baby animal that lives in the ocean
Create an obstacle course in your house/yard
Sing a song while you wash your hands
Clap to count the syllables in your name and all the names of your family
Set a timer for one minute and see how many animals you can name
Use Lego or other blocks to build animals
Try drawing with wet chalk
Roll a ball and count how many steps to measure how far it rolls
Practice writing your first and/or last name
Watch the sunset and draw a picture
Help set the table
Make DIY puppets using recyclables, a sock or paper
Move like an animal and play animal charades
Draw a picture of an animal family
Continue your Science Journal to record pictures of baby animals
Sing and dance in the rain (or the sun!). How do you feel?
Make animal baby shadow puppets
Set a timer and try to “beat the clock” cleaning up your toys
Listen to music from different cultures and dance
Pretend you are a veterinarian and make a video of you treating your patient
FInd out which animals eat vegetables and try some
Draw your favorite baby animal and label it by writing its name
Count how many doors there are in your house
Read a book to your family! If you do not know the words, use the pictures to tell the story
