The sign MAJOR can mean: main, line of work, profession (initialized to mean professional), or domain (area of study).
I’m going to show you some majors. Don’t worry about learning them all. Just learn yours. If you need to see it again, raise your hand and ask.

“United States” is shown by doing US using a very small circular movement for each letter.

LAW:The sign “law” is often shortened to one movement when used for “BROTHER (in) LAW” = BROTHER-LAW.

NEWSPAPER generally uses a double movement. The sign when done with a single movement can be used to mean “PRINT” as in “Print your name.”

COMPUTER has several signs. A.B.C.Here in Sacramento I recommend you use the one on the forehead.

The sign SELF can be used to mean: “YOUR OWN.”

SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY, and BIOLOGY all use variations of the same sign. Science can use either an S or an “A” with thumbs out. Chemistry uses a “C.” Biology uses a “B”

The sign HELP can be changed to show who did the helping.
