大學新鮮人對自己總是有許多期許,不要

留下空白的大學生活,因此參加排球系隊,

因為我本身很喜歡運動,而且透過排球,

我了解到團體合作的重要性—唯有和大家

培養默契才能致勝。排球在我的大學生涯

占了許多部份,排球場也是我第二個家!

大二加入系會,了解到策劃活動的流程,

也認識更多朋友;系會就像是小型社會,

要學習和很多領域的人一起合作溝通,完

成許多精彩的表演與活動。

大三的時候參與了台科設計週的展場規

劃,於學校國際大樓布置展場,在空曠的

空間搭出我們的展覽,對於策展、動線規

劃有許多寶貴的經驗。此外也徵選上台灣

設計師週、天晴設計的導覽員,讓我對於

台灣設計圈更是多了一份了解!

回想大學生活真的多采多姿,接觸到各式

各樣的人,辦過各種活動、也參加很多活

動。能夠有如此豐富的大學生活,想起來

都還是會會心一笑呢!

大四上學期申請上交換學生計畫,千里迢

迢到陌生的挪威展開新的生活。挪威擁有

獨特的峽灣地形、許多世界文化遺產,另

外我也很嚮往北歐的簡約風格。藉此機會

體驗一下屬於斯堪地那維亞的設計。

剛開始適應一個新地方總是需要一點時

間,很幸運的有位德國室友和我不錯,因

為她的指引,讓我漸漸打開心房、開始探

索這個和台灣截然不同地貌的地方。在我

的挪威冒險旅程,她是我很重要的支持!

在課業上我選擇了木頭設計及策略設計課;

挪威很重視學生的實作,也強調對自己負

責,有趣的是還可以跟業界合作,增加自

己的見識與能力,和台灣的風氣不一樣。

除了課堂,我也安排了許多獨自的旅程,

用雙腳踏遍歐陸;也挑戰挪威許多風景名

勝。我認為自己和挪威人一樣崇尚自然的

生活,來到挪威就像魚到大海一樣自由自

在,看著照片回憶當時的自己,一點都沒

有後悔,反而是多了份成就感!

With the rapid growth of technology,

smartphones have taken over people’s social

lives. Smartphones make it too easy to make

connections with basically everything. In

this sense, smartphones are convenient yet

disturbing.

in daily lives allows people to escape from

the message overdose, thus rediscover the

loveliness of being “alive.”

With this collection, we hope everyone can

find their own "tempo giusto".

Take phone calls and texts as the message

from the wind. Chiming transform the

disturbing notifications into ringing of wind

chime. The peaceful image wind chimes bear

brings back the tranquility and leisure people

almost forgotten. The re-interpretation of

modern message delivery allows people

having a quiet piece of mind.

Chiming classifies the messages and calls into

different groups and notifies the user with different

intensity of bell sounds from the wind chime. The

users can personalize the group settings themselves

thus making the best use of this product.

connect automatically. If not, just click

“connect” in the main menu.

In Groups, users can edit the phone book.

They can change this person’s phone

numbers or priority. Besides, users also

Warmony represents the warmth of talking during meal time through

the candlelight. Instead of being cold and distant to people, we hope

that Warmony can enhance the relationship for every user.

With this design, people would come to realize that the importance of

interaction even during meal time!

The visual intensity of light represents how much people actually

“communicate” during the meal. The candlelight adjusts its

illumination according to the intensity of sound being detected, that

is, more conversation equals brighter lighting.

Design Brief

Improve AS wants to combine experiences in

sports and entertainment to be established

as a knowledge centre for the physically active.

They want to inspire people to live an active

lifestyle.

Mission Statement

The aim of this project is to exploit, redesign and produce this

classic training box as well as introduce new and complementary

ways of exercising. An important fact is to look at how we can use

the box in other ways and for other parts the body (endurance and

strength for the lower and uper body.) In the design, we had to

consider that the box meets the physical capabilities and needs of

diverse users, no matter their level or ambition.

IInternal Analysis

We do interview and survey to know

people's preferences regarding for the

design and function of the box.

During the interview we found our

subjects had a common interests for

staying in shape, not only to look good

but also for maintaining a healthy body.

This is a great source of motivation to do

some exercise. In addition, these people

showed great positivity about trying new

things for a challenge, which gives good

hope for our fitbox.

Based on the survey, we could see our

subjects preferred work out in groups,

like in a gym, rather than doing exercise

at home or alone. So the box may still

be used in gym. We also found that 60

percent stated that they own some kinds

of exercise equipments, which means

that people are tempted to buy products,

and they intended to work out at home

in some momemts. Last, more than 75

percent do exercise 1-3 times a week or

more. This is positive for our jump box

because it is easy to introuce in a market

that is already used to exercising.

Because of those opportunities, we

hope that the three-level box will draw

some attention and give an exciting and

challenging new way of staying in shape.

External Analysis

Improve wants to revive the box and

introduce the work out to the norwegian

market. To get an idea of how the market

will welcome the box, it is important to

look at current trends and worldwide

development.

The annual survey of fitness trends by

American College of Sports Medicine

(ACSM) is now in its seventh consecutive

year. Many of these trends can be

re lated to Improve AS, which are

colored in orange on the top. When

it comes to the box, many of these trends

also prove the interest for this kind of

equipment. The box has been linked

mostly to endurance and plyometrics,

but with the revival of the box you can

also introduce strength training and focus

more on core exercise and body weight

training. All these trends got high score

in the survey. In futher research we will

look into how strength, core, and body

weight training can be linked to the work

out concept of the box.

Since the box is closely related to crossfit, we decided to get to know the

workout program by visiting CrossFit Trondheim. We desided just to observe,

and not push anyone to do box jumps, through this way we could see how

people interacted with the box without thinking. In the pictures we could

find that people already uesd the box in various way.

The exploration os important for reviving the box. The box

should be more than a plyometric box; therefore, we have

focused on way to do strength exercise on it. Some exercises

are donewith body weight alone and some includes other

basic exercise equipment.

[ 山 ] -遠眺的九份如被群山圍繞的聚寶盆

[ 水 ] -山雨欲來風滿樓,卻澆不熄九份人的熱情

[ 霧 ] -坐落山間,雲霧繚繞,已成為日常生活的一部份

[ 夜 ] -高掛的紅燈籠,半山腰上燈火闌珊,永不熄滅的掏金城

九份、黃金的故鄉,讓我們在這裡,共譜出一段屬於我們的九份歌曲。

在這個礦工宿舍改造的特色民宿中,透過與勇哥對話,聽到了充滿理想的故事、

看到游子對九份不同的堅持。初不知的人生哲學、隨性風格的擺設、回到家鄉的

夢想。每個人都有個夢,但勇敢追夢的人又有多少?

回到屋內擺設,是勇哥在九份的漫步的邂逅。屋外的物件,隨著主人的心境,盡

情地自由的蔓延在家中。溫暖的色調、粗礦中的細節,讓造訪的遊客,流連忘返

在勇哥與九份的對話,並享受這愜意的風景與時光。

[ 粗礦中帶有細膩 ],是我們給 A-Home 的一句形容。粗曠在於取材上的

原始風貌;細膩在於運用巧思的擺設及動手改造。從這個角度切入,加

上九份給人礦脈的記憶,回歸到最原始的石材去思考,以捉迷藏的形式,

讓茶具隱身在石頭中,若隱若現的黃金,令人想要一探究竟。

[ 自由的蔓延 ],自然與室內、勇哥讓九份的生態環境像雲霧般悄聲無息、

慢慢的探近來。利用借景的手法把自然引入室內,使人有與九份山水緊

密相關的感覺。

石頭與玻璃的搭配,呈現出不同的視覺效果。

石頭:回到原點思考,保留原始石頭的外觀,石頭本身的切面

有時可以經由人工堆疊形成美麗的禪意;

玻璃:是讓金色透出並讓霧氣包圍,在朦朧之間給人一種若隱

若現的感覺,令人想要一窺究竟;

最後,掀開剖過的石頭底下藏著的是玻璃製作的茶具,讓人在

喝茶的時候,多了與茶具的互動。
