I was looking for an oasis in the middle of the city, a more natural and even traditional place, where people who lived here before can improve their lives and the rest of the habitants can enjoy a different space with new services.

I have created a system that fits in every possible location you can imagine, with basic pieces based on the square from the small to the big scale. Even the dry precast concrete construction can allow to dismantle the building, reuse and relocate it.

Houses. In order to create a space as

flexible as possible has been used a 12x6m

container module which orientates around a

courtyard. Each house contains a core that

organizes the space.

House core. It is composed by the wet rooms, hinged panels that form the living

spaces and installations riser wall.

An attempt to bring to life this piece of great historical importance through its transformation into space for dance. The intervention consists of adding a new facade that hosts new spaces while helping to weatherize and conserve the building. It also includes an urban square that helps to link the Prado Museum with Retiro park.

This is a real analysis about the current structural viability of a Gothic cathedral by studying efforts in vaults, arcs and flying buttress. The calculations can be done through graphic methods as well as mathematical based on Heyman studies.

The project aim is to support the understanding of cinematic art masterpieces through linking art, built space and environment. Like the movement is the main theme in the works, according to this the visitors can participate by walking and choosing their own tour that helps them to understand the masterpieces in different ways.

A close dialogue between the Monastery and a learning space. Due to the place, the project has to be a path, an open space with pavilions that allows to feel this architectural masterpiece while people are learning about architecture in summer, enjoying the warm climate. This also requires to be used in winter, so the pavilions have the possibility to change into other kind of spaces, and the cafe and the administration can keep their use in winter.

This is a city designed for revitalizing rural areas that are now abandoned in Soria, trying to catch new inhabitants. The main economical activity of the city is agriculture but the whole field is used as a large grid of paths because all the city services are spread across the landscape in large buildings that remind us of tree trunks.

This project was selected to be presented in the University Autumn jury in 2009. Professors valued very highly the idea.

In the village is where the sleeping area has place. The aim is to try to conserve the existing houses and complete them with different pieces depending on the needs, rooms piece, kitchen and bathroom piece, etc.

A place into the nature that you find in the stroll throughout the King´s Places. It is also a quiet place where to study in summer with a stare over the Renaissance monument in front of you, with multifunctional spaces where lecture, draw, study or talk take place. Even the architecture wants to emulate the Monastery, coiling around a courtyard.

This big building was the first skyscraper which was built in Spain. It could be a monument but actually it is only a meeting wall for the Gran Via underground exit. Nobody knows what is going on this amazing building even thousand people pass every day by the front. This is why I proposed to turn it into a new part of the street with a internal big square that breaks the insurmountable wall where a journey for the senses begins.

I participated in the 100 years of Gran Via exhibition with this project with some proposal models. One of my images which illustrates the thought about the building like a place unachievable was chosen for the cover of the exhibition catalogue.

A compact (but full of possibilities) house as a part of a big corridor building. An adaptable and multi-functional architecture where walls turn into seats and rise again to build a storage space. And the place where you catch the light is something you can enjoy.

One of my first projects. The first which I worked in a known place. I decided to make two paths: one to get to the beach and one for the pier. The pier was a relaxation space crossed by a ramp with a book storage wall. Some big wholes in the facade like the house ones do not let you forget the link with the landscape.
