Steps in a Portfolio Development

Develop a Portfolio Policy– who is going to collect data?– whom is the data being collected on?– when is this being done?– who is responsible?– who will this be shared with?– teacher’s release time?– NEEDS TO BE IN HANDBOOK

Collecting Work Samples

Define the size and quantity for each child. Date each item. Take photos of large stuff or three dimensional stuff, or child doing activities.
