PNRA-FBR Collaboration
Implementation of five year National Nuclear Security Action Plan (NSAP) by Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA).
Operational Dimensions of NSAP:
Inland operations to monitor and regulate movement of Nuclear and Other Radioactive Materials
Monitoring of entry/exit points to prevent illicit movement of Nuclear and Other Radioactive Materials
Collaboration between PNRA and FBR to implement NSAP for international borders and international airports.

Implementation of MoU between PNRA and FBR Signed on 21st June,2008 at Islamabad
Following Customs stations have been equipped Sost (Pak-China Border) Torkham (Pak-Afghanistan Border) Taftan (Pak-Iran Border) Gwadar sea port Wahga (Pak-India Border)
About 100 officials of Pakistan Customs have been trained on the use of radiation detection equipment radiation protection, recognition of radiation signatures, response to alarms and illicit trafficking.
