• Introduction @Objectives:A poroma is a benign adnexal neoplasm that shows differentiation toward poroid (glandular ductal) cells; analyses by many investigators suggest that poromas can be of either eccrine or apocrine lineage. The specific causes of poromas are not known.

• Materials@Metods:We have a case report of a 68 years old man with a well circumscribed tumor, 4/4 cm diameter, round, elastic, red-blue-grey, localised in hairy skin of the scalp, covered by thin skin, crusts, secundary to multiple erosions, ulcerations, haemorrhage, asymtomatic, slow-growing in 5 years. He did present by cosmetical reasons.

• Clinical diagnosis was basal cell carcinoma(BCC) regarding clinical aspect, location- on sun- exposed area-, age of pacient, chronic course. We proceed to complete excision.

• Results:Histopathology revealed a proliferation of uniform basaloid, cuboidal cells punctuated by focal ducts and occasional cysts.Nuclei are small, pale and regular, and cytoplasm is modest in amount. The pale-staining aspect of these cells distinguishes them from the dark-staining cells of BCC.The stroma surrounding this proliferation is richly vascular, and contain granulation tissue.Histological Findings: Poroma

• Conclusions: Histopathological findings defined the diagnosis of poroma, witch We did not espect in such location(scalp), in such dimensions(4/4 cm diameter), in an old man, knowing that poroma usually manifests as a solitary papule or nodule, smaller than 2 cm in diameter, localised especially on soles and palms, typical onset in adulthood.

• Inpatient care is not required. The prognosis of poromas is favorable, the risk of malignant transformation of a poroma is minimal.
