DESCRIPTION
Select participants will learn and experience all the Big Apple has to offer. The participant will have the opportunity to see the Broadway Hit "Wicked"! Along with the show, they will have a behind the scenes tour of the show, tour the Alvin Alley Dance Facilities as well as the Clive Davis Institute of Recording. They will experience a tour of the Guggenheim, Schomburg, Apollo, NYU, Lincoln Center, African American Burial grounds, 9/11 Memorial, Central Park, a cruise to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, F.A.O. Schwarz, Madison Square Gardens, Times Square, Shopping, Six Flags and more that Manhattan, Harlem, New Jersey and Brooklyn has to offer.

AEC Philosophy
Porch Productions New York AEC 2013 is a five-day travel camp
designed to offer a program that is both enriching and fun! This is an
excellent opportunity for young teens to broaden their horizons and
develop life-long friendships. The participants will experience an
exciting adventure every day. They will explore museums, parks and
interact in workshops and tours with talented professionals. The
participants will also participate in a community service project that
teaches them the value of giving back to their communities.
Participants will leave with a new appreciation for their surroundings as
well as learning new skills and forming meaningful friendships.
The skills that they attain can be applied in all aspects of their lives and
will help them become stronger, more invested leaders both in school
and in their community.
