Usingyourpreferredwebbrowser,visitcanva.com.Signupusingthemethodyouaremostcomfortable

with.

Oncesignupiscomplete,youarepromptedtochoosewhyyouwillbeusingCanva.Forthe

purposesofthistutorial,IchoseWork.

ACerthatyouwillbepromptedtochoosewhatkindofimageyouwanttodesign.ForthistutorialIchosetheeverpopularinfographic.

Youwillthenhavetochoosewhattypeofinfographicyouwanttocreate.IchoseEduca/onsincewewantpeopletolearnfromour/ps.

NowyouarebroughttotheCanvaeditor.OntheleChandsideofthescreenyouwillbepromptedtochoosealayout(youcanscrollthroughquiteafewopIonsinthiswindow,butIjustwentwiththetoprightchoice).

Oncethatisdone,thetemplatewillopen,andyouwillwanttozoominabitsoyoucanseewhatyouareworkingwith.Bytheway,youcanclickFileinthetopleCtoresizeyourinfographicbutthisapremium/paidfeature.

Clickonanytextorelementtochangeit.FirstthingIchangedwasaddingmyURLtothetop.ThenIchangedtheinfographic’s/tletothenameoftheIpsreport

OntheleCwillbeamenuoficonsyoucanuse.ChooseiconsthatfittheIpsyouchose.Dragyourchoseniconfromthemenuontoyourinfographic.Youwillneedtomanuallyresizetheiconbyclickingonit,andthendraggingthedotinthecorner.Now,justlineuptheimagebesidetheIp.ThisissupereasyasCanvahelpsguideyoubysnappingtheimageintoplaceasyoudragit).

OnceiconsarelinedupbesidetheIps,clickoneach,thenclickthecolorswabonthetopleC.Thiswillallowyoutochangethecoloroftheicon.Canvawillshowcolorsusedinyourcurrentdocument.Chooseoneofthosesothatyourcolorschemestaysonpoint.
