Supporting the operating expenditure of businesses that had to cease or limit their operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Aimed at ALL those businesses benefitting from the Covid Wage Supplement

• For Tenants not the landlords.

• For Rental agreements covering Year 2020.

• For Rental Agreements entered into force before the 9th March 2020

• For Commercial Rents only (Domestic or residential use agreements are not eligible)

• Property must be rented from private sector third parties specifically for the carrying out of economic activities

(Rent agreements with MIP are not eligible)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Self Employed and Businesses with one outlet may claim up to €2,500

Businesses with five outlets can claim rental costs of up to €7,500 of annual rent

STARTING THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Malta Enterprise shall send an initial email to all those who have benefitted for the Wage Supplement.

Email will be sent out on Wednesday 9th September
