Photosynthesis Lab
Instructor: Mrs. TurnerPrinciples of Biology
Nathan Marcy Tim Waldrip Amanda Matsumura Alisa Craig
Introduction
• There is a need for laboratory reference materials in order to show to absent students in NWACC science classes. We have made a video showing a lab on photosynthesis with verbal and written directions and visual aids.
Project Overview
To indentify and describe the methods of photosynthesis presented in the lab.
To give a visual aid to learning the lab content
To give simplistic directions for completing the lab.
Community Aspect• We have helped fellow students to understand and recreate
the photosynthesis lab.
• We also gave the science department a resource to fulfill state frameworks by exposing to students who have missed the photosynthesis lab.

Course Content Objectives
• Know the organisms that carry out photosynthesis
• Learn the structure of chloroplast• Learn the overall equations for photosynthesis• Learn the major events of light independent
and dependent reactions. • Show how pigments absorb light• Learn the electromagnetic spectrum
Methods
• Record the lab being done: Amanda Matsumura
• Explain directions while recording the lab: Tim Waldrip
