Photoshop

L/O: to know basic photoshop tools

To be able to practice manipulating photos using tools

Basic info & tips• Pixel based program• Good photos =

– Good lighting– High resolution is best

• Always make sure you save as JPEG/TIFF• Photoshop can’t fix really bad photos

– i.e. really underexposed (really dark) will be really grainy – can’t fix this• Tools are to AID, when they become too much – photos will look fake

and unrealistic – don’t let special effects become special DEFECTS – there is a fine line!

• PHOTOSHOP IS A HUGE, COMPLEX program, it will take time and practice to learn!!!!

• Watch tutorials online!
