About PIMCC
The County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) has offered counties a way to help control the expense of providing necessary
medical care, while still delivering quality medical care.
PIMCC – Prison Inmate Medical Cost Containment (PIMCC) is a CCAP Insurance Program that providesmedical cost management and education to assist county prisons with the containment of costs related to inmate medical expenses. PIMCC’s overall goal is to train, educate and provide a quality managed care program which allows the county to choose their own unique medical cost saving method.
In addition, Public Institution Medical Cost Containment is available for county nursing homes. This is a purchasing program for nursing home related supplies.
Cost Management Plus, Inc., was created specifically to provide consulting services to PIMCC. The primary business of the firm has been assisting counties with their inmate healthcare needs.
