HOW CAN I APPLY?Applications for Global Village can be made directly to GV via email (info@gvenglish.com) or through our website: http://www.gvenglish.com/booking.html. You can also apply through your favourite study travel agent. Application processes for a further study partner (university, college, career program, secondary school) can vary: please contact us (info@gvenglish.com) to find out whether you should apply to the further study partner via GV or directly online.
HOW QUICKLY WILL MY APPLICATION BE PROCESSED?Applications to GV are generally processed within 1-2 days. Applications to universities, colleges, etc. generally take longer (2-4 weeks), but our staff is very happy to contact the university/college admissions office to assist with prompt processing.
WHY SHOULD I STUDY ABROAD?A student who spends time studying abroad gains many advantages:
• Study abroad in North America offers both high quality education experiences and excellent value for money.
• Undergraduates and Certificates from North American institutions are highly-regarded around the globe.
• Studying in an international environment will open greater future study and work options for you in this time of globalization.
• English language skills improve most quickly in an immersion environment.
• Our programs draw students from over 40 countries – you will have the chance to build international networks while pursuing your academic goals.
DO YOU HAVE ACADEMIC COUNSELORS AT GV?Yes. Our experienced academic counselors can help you evaluate your study options to make the best choice for your goals. We also maintain strong relationships with the Admissions staff at our further study partners, and we will communicate regularly with them to ensure smooth transitions from GV to university/college/career programs/secondary school.
WILL MY ENGLISH SKILLS IMPROVE?Absolutely. Of course, the degree of improvement depends on each individual’s study habits and commitment, but our strong curriculum and excellent teachers will provide you with the best opportunities to improve as quickly as possible. As well, we have an English-only policy on our campuses, to optimize the language-learning environment.
CAN GV ARRANGE ACCOMMODATION FOR ME?Yes. All GV schools have in-house accommodation departments which ensure timely, effective service. GV Homestay provides a safe, friendly and secure environment for students, while giving them the opportunity to experience and enjoy the local culture.

All requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and are designed to meet each individual student’s needs. GV can also assist students with applications for student housing at further study partner institutions.
