THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT
PASTOR’S CORNER
Our ShareLife Campaign 2019 will start next weekend with our first guest speaker. Each year
over 200,000 people across the Archdiocese of Toronto rely on the support of ShareLife agen-
cies for help. This fact reminds us that we can do a lot from a distance to help many families in
crisis, people with special needs, the elderly, immigrants and refugees, our seminarians, and
many others who count on the generosity of the Catholic Church in Toronto. Of course, you
may say or think, “I have already given so much. When will this stop?” The answer to this
query can only be this: When God stops giving to you in so many ways every single day. And
every gift we have received is meant to be shared if possible. So I want to ask you on behalf of
ShareLife to be as generous as you can during the next three months, and especially on March
31, May 5 and June 2. Once again, we can work wonders if we keep in mind what St. Augus-
tine once said: “He who is charitable at heart, will always find something to give to his broth-
ers and sisters in need.”
Fr. Slawek
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Every Friday during Lent 7 p.m.—8 p.m.
Attention Parishioners
Starting on the last weekend of March we will be praying the prayer St. Michael the Archangel after the blessing. The prayer is located in the front cover of the Catholic Book of Worship.
SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL PRAYER
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in
battle. Be our protection against the wicked-
ness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke
him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince
of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who
wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen
Mission Appeal Collection
Next week on the Wednesday, March
27 during the Mission there will be a second collection for the Mission Ap-peal. Envelopes are available for pickup at the table at the back of the Church.
