Careers & Development
Leadership Development Rotation Program
In 2008, Medtronic Greater China launched the Leadership Development Rotation Program
(LDRP) to deal with the talent war in current market. It is a Medtronic US equivalent program,
which targets MBA graduates from selected local and international MBA schools as well as
existing high-potential talents in Medtronic.
Being a Medtronic Manager Program
Nowadays, demand for good management or leaders far exceed the
supply in the talent market. Many individuals at their early age have
been promoted to become people manager while they may not be ready
for it. To increase the leadership pipeline and ensure their success in the
management role, this program intends to accelerate the newly
promoted first line manager’s development during their job transition
from individual contributor to people manager.
Tailored Development Program
Leadership & Management Development Camp
Leadership Development Camp (LDC) and Management Development Camp (MDC) are two
initiatives of Medtronic Greater China. Both initiatives aim at developing the leadership and
management capabilities of our managers through forums led by senior leaders. More than
971 managers participated in the camps since 2007.
Objectives: • Create a high performance culture and instill manager’s
mindset to develop talents • Strengthen the management and leadership capabilities of
managers across the whole company • Enhance capabilities of change management in particular
