TheWatchdogrelayfortheACRcontrollercards(excepttheACR1500)isadrycontactreedrelay.Thecontactsareratedat+24VDC@1.0A.ThesecontactsarenotACrated.TheWatchdogoutputsoftheACR1500areOpenCollectorOutputandareratedat+24VDC@30mA.Theemitteroftheseoutputsisconnectedtothe5VDCcommonpowerappliedtotheACR1500.ThisrelayisaccessedthroughtheP2connector.TheconnectionsarelabeledWDCOM(WatchdogCommon),WDNO(WatchdogNormallyOpen)andWDNC(WatchdogNormallyClosed).

ThisrelayisintendedtobeusedinsafetyinterlockcircuitsusedinasystemoperatedbyanACRcontrollercard.TheWatchdogrelayisenergizedwhenpowerisappliedtotheACRcardandpassesaDSPfunctioncheck.

NOTE:The5voltpowerappliedtotheDSPsusedwithACRcontrollercardshasaratingof+5VDC+/0.2VDC.Thecardwillnotoperateinlowvoltageconditions.
