WEEKLY EXPECTATIONS

ReadingStudents are required to read for 30 minutes 5 times a week and complete a book project each month that reflects what they are reading. Some of this time may happen during school.

SpellingThere will be four spelling assignments each week that will be done in their spelling notebook. All assignments will be due each Friday. Weekly spelling practice will also take place in school. This practice includes working with words, word meaning, and editing for spelling.

Geography Government (United States, Canada,

Studying/Testing – Each student will be required to bring notes home to study prior to tests. They will be expected to study both notes and quizzes for their tests.

Homework- Some reading assignments will be assigned along with a few projects.
