Panorama made easy! Thanks to CS5 Photoshop

Step One

Bring your images into the Computer by inserting memory card from digital camera

(Your Roll 2 Panoramas, will be scanned in .)

Create a folder for your series of photos (3-4).

Step Two

Open photos in Adobe Photoshop CS5

By Going to File OpenBrowse for images

Then under File menu selectAutomateChoose Photomerge

Step Three

Once you choose Photomerge, it brings up a dialog box.

The center column will appear empty, so click the Add Open Files Button.

Leave the Blended Images together checkbox on.

Vignette Removal: Check this box if the edges of your images appear darkened

Step Four

In the layout section on the left, the default setting is Auto, (I recommend leaving that set for

standard wide panorama that we are familiar with).

Once you have selected Auto, within a few minutes your Panorama is seamlessly stitched together!

Example

Photomerge does its magic by automatically cropping the photo for you to get a blended image.

Step 5

Select the Crop tool in Photoshop Click and drag from upper left to lower

right, to select the imagePress return, and your panorama is

cropped down to size.

Your Task:

• Form a group of 3

Shoot 3-4 images with a digital camera in the room

Upload to the computer and complete the steps to make a panorama using PS CS5

Log onto Moodle and upload your finished Panorama to “Panorama Project”
