• Theatre reopened in 1980

Canton Palace Theatre Association has: 2200 members 21 Volunteer Board Members 1 full time staff person (Executive Director) 8 part time staff 150 volunteers

It is the responsibility of the Association to operate and maintain the Canton Palace Theatre

• Membership rates range from $20 to $500+

• Benefits include, free movie passes, weekly e-newsletter of upcoming events, ticket pre-sales and more

• Membership brochure included in your Palace Theatre envelope

Membership dues allow us to show on our 35mm reel-to-reel projector:

Art Films on Thursdaysat 7:30pm for $5

Hollywood Hit Movies on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30pm

for $5 Kid’s Movies on Mondays

at 1pm for $1 in the Summer

• The Palace is a fully rentable facility for private movies and live performances

• We are the home of the Canton Ballet and numerous Dance Schools all throughout Northeast Ohio

• Special rental rates for area non-profit 501c3 organizations

Current Challenges faced by the Palace: High costs of maintaining 82 year old building High costs of utilities Increased competition of larger multiplex Theaters Change in rules from movie distributors Increase cost in corn and chocolate
