Best wishes for all as the Fall 2014 Season has kicked off and players have started

school and high school boys soccer starts as well.

As a recap of the summer activities for Kansas Youth Soccer, there were approxi-

mately 130 teams that participated in the State Tournaments from May 27 to June

3, 2014 at the Overland Park Soccer Complex.

Kansas teams represented well at the Regional levels of play as Sporting KC Acade-

my Boys U14 won the Region II Midwest Championships and moved on to the US

Youth Soccer National Championships in Maryland along with KC Dynamos Girls

U17 qualifying through the National League. Dynamos would end up advancing to

the Semi-finals of Nationals before being eliminated.

OPSC Monaco Boys U13 won the Region II Presidents Cup here in Overland Park to

represent Kansas at the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup in South Caroli-

na.

Congratulations to all the teams that participated in Regional and National events

representing your state and club with pride and excellence.

Kansas Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program and players completed a successful

summer of Region II ODP Showcase Tournaments and Holdover Camps.

2014-15 Kansas ODP Tryouts have been completed in four different locations - OP, Manhattan, Wichita,

and Dodge City throughout this summer in July and August.

The initial State Pool will be named within the upcoming week. Players will be added throughout the Fall.

Kansas Youth Soccer’s FALL 2014 ‘Centers of Excellence’ Training Centers for U9-U12 Boys

& Girls offered for September and October in three locations - Olathe, El Dorado, and Man-
