Together we stepped on the mountain…

Before we knew it… our OGG family expanded…..

The king of the mountain not only kept us going he kept us laughing!

Something ARE set in stone…

Together we were all set to succeed…

With our sights set…

The higher we went, the more motivated we became….

Together we persevered…..

Together we saw a long path ahead-- but we knew how far we had already

come...

It became within our reach…

We knew that we would make it…

And we did……..

Maybe not all in the same moment…

But this was greater than a singular moment… 100% success lasts an

eternity

We danced down…..

Very proud to be SUNY Oswego Team

We said thanks…..

Many more thanks…..

We danced again, last dance …..

And we said goodbye …..

New Perspective: A few things we learned

A comfortable place to sleep could be…

OR

Skillful cook means…

Hard work means

Well behaved kids means….

To receive a free or discounted item you don’t need to use “pepper spray”

Tine air may have prolong impact on some people!

We have a renewed appreciation for nature

We have made friends with people we had never met….

Together We Go: Climbing Kilimanjaro

• A journey of determination, hardship, friendship, adventure, accomplishment, and indeed an eye opener!

• We work, we learned, and we succeeded as team… • In testing our own abilities , we realized that we are

both emotionally and physically stronger than we think we are

• We learned a lot about ourselves and about others

• We became friends and made many more friends

• We Learned not only about Tanzania but from Tanzanian people.

• It unleashed our compassion , renewed our social responsibilities and for that hopefully we have become much better global citizen.

We will never forget the friend we made and will never forget who made

it possible for us-

Oswego Going Global"Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” - Maya Angelou
