Support Services for RPg StudentsFrom the 2018/19 cohort onwards, the Academic Secretariat, the Research Office and individual academic units* will collaborate with each other in providing services for RPg students.

• Administration of RPg student‐related finance matters– record on source of funding support for RPg 

students– issuance of stipend– issuance of financial testimonial– disbursement of Associated Money and 

Conference Attendance Grant

• Updating of Research Student Handbook• Distribution of Notification to students on the 

revised guidelines and policies related to RPg study

• Organisation of  Orientation Gathering for new RPg students

• Co‐ordination of  Student Attachment Programme the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS)  the recruitment exercise for the joint PhD 

programmes leading to dual award
