THEOVERVIEW Hewlett-Packard company was founded in 1938 at Palo Alto in

California, USA by William(Bill) Hewlett  and David(Dave) Packard. 

 Dave Packard and Bill Hewlett .

The company originated in a garage in nearby Palo Alto during their fellowship under the professor Fredrick Terman at Stanford. HP wasestablished with initial investment of US$38.

 The garage in California.

Incorporated on August 18, 1947 and went on public on Nov 6,1957.Originally company worked on a wide range f electronic productseventually they focused on high quality electronic products. The first

successful product was a precision audio oscillator and its earliestcustomer was The Walt Disney Company.
